    Description

Please email with any questions. Vintage 1937 or early 1938 postcard from the initial release of Disney's "SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS" full length cartoon. The back reads, "Greetings form "SNOW WHITE" and the CARTHTAY CIRCLE THEATRE, Hollywood, California, where Walt Disney's full-length RKO release "SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS" is being shown for the first time in the world.". The Carthay Circle opened in 1926 and "Snow White" had its world premiere there on December 21, 1937. The fabulous movie palace was the site of many premieres and was one of the jewels of the Fox Theatre empire. The postcard shows some slight rounding of the corners and some faint discoloring near the edges. No creases or tears.
