Shows typical wear from use and storage, including light surface mark, scratches, and minor pitting in the enamel that was due to the manufacturing process.  It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean.  It is straight, not bent, has no personal monograms or engravings, pin is tight and secure, with no major issues at all.
It is hallmarked on the back 14K along with a letter B inside a shield under a columned building form, but we are unfamiliar with who this maker's mark belongs to.  It has been stone and acid tested and confirms 14K gold.
This is a great, very collectible piece for those that collect memorabilia from this store and other defunct department stores, you have a family member that worked there, or you have an interest in local Charlotte history!  Would also be great for those that live in the converted downtown condo store building, too!  Add it to your collection or display it in a historic archive!
We enjoy uncovering small bits of lost history like this, and we hope you do, too!
    DON'T MISS OUT!
Would make a great gift idea for that special someone you know, too!
