VINTAGE ANTIQUE 1880s-1900s ALFRED WRIGHT PERFUMER WOODEN WOOD FACE POWDER BOX

Offered here is an an ORIGINAL, antique or vintage face powder box. It is made of WOOD, with a paper label on the top. The label reads (in part): "A HARMLESS FACE POWDER...FROM THE LABORATORY OF ALFRED WRIGHT - PRERFUMER...ROCHESTER, N.Y." I'm not exactly sure when this was made. The perfumer, Alfred Wright died in 1891, but his business carried on for several years after his death. I would "GUESS" this was made circa 1880's to early 1900's - give or take. (Almost certainly over 100 years old.) It measures 2 & 1/2 inches wide, and is 1 & 3/8 inches tall. The condition is FAIR to GOOD. There are paper chips on the label, and it is soiled. The underside is soiled. It still displays very nicely, and is guaranteed to be OLD & ORIGINAL, or your money back.
