Russian Veteran's Patriotic Mug for soldiers. The Mug is decorated with a Medal "For the Conquest of Chechnya and Dagestan: 1857, 1858, 1859" with the obverse and reverse of the medal.
The Mug was found on the battlefield where a Brusilov Offensive, 1916 (Episode: Third Battle of Lutsk) was held. Our main motto -

Medal Medal "For the Conquest of Chechnya and Dagestan: 1857, 1858, 1859" It is founded on July 15, 1860 by the decree of the Emperor Alexander II given to the Minister of War N.O. Sukhozanet. Awarded with a medal: 1) all generals, the headquarters and subaltern officers, the lower ranks of troops and militia which in 1857-1859 were involved ever in military operations and expeditions against "rebellious mountaineers" on the former left flank of the Caucasian line and in Dagestan, as a part of groups and mobile columns, or at reflection of enemy attacks; 2) the priests and medical officials who were at troops and fulfilling the duties during the military expeditions; 3) being during this time at troops of officials of civil department and also cool officials of the komissariatsky, proviantsky and engineering departments which were at troops during the expeditions on official business; 4) volunteers, if they were at troops and were involved in battles; 5) all not front lower ranks which were during military operations at groups or participated in affairs.
