    Description

    Rare piece of Almazetto Pottery, this schnauzer is magnificent.  Most of these figurines date to the 1960's-70's period, but I cannot read a date.  This handsome fellow stands at approximately 7" tall and is 7" wide.  There is no damage.  Finding the Almazetto signature can be tricky, but in my last photo, if you enlarge it, you can just make out part of the word, the "maz", although the other letters are there too, just very difficult to read.  There were different sizes of these figurines and I would classify this one as being medium size as I have sold a smaller one in the past.  I have also seen a 13" tall version of a different breed dog.  This is my first schnauzer I have found.  Any questions, please ask.
