    Description

    Arrow is from a mixed collection from Northwestern Nevada (Paiute Shoshone near Fallon, NV), southern Oregon and Northeastern California. The arrow is obsidian tipped with nice side notch point. The fletching intact. Fletching glued, possibly with fishskin glue, sinew wrapped, possibly fishskin sinew. Point sinew wrapped. 30.5"  Ex Wigwam Coll  (see note)

    The Wigwam Collection items are from a very large collection that was located in Fernley, Nevada. It was famous locally. The owner of the Wigwam restaurant in downtown Fernley was a Native American material collector and unofficial pawn broker for native people in the region for many years in the mid-late 1900’s.
