Russian Presentation Porcelain Imperial Guard Style Sabre.
Lefortovo Ceramics Hand-Painted in polychrome in traditional Pan-Slavic design with gilt highlights under glaze, attached gilt tassel, fitted lid on handle guard with unaltered cork stopper, gilt metal chain; attached metallic label "Shirvan 15 years age". Offered in "Russian Souvenir" presentation box Lefortovo Ceramic Plant with black velvet cushion inside, overall 29 ½" x 9" x 2 ¼". Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA; received as a gift at XII-th Annual Congress "CITOGIC'2002" Kuban in 2002. Very Good used condition. Wear to original sealant on the Lid. The box shows some wear, losses and later touch-ups.
