DA008Z, Finely shaped elliptical stone head of 3.5" x 3" high, circa 1830, or so. Bound by restored deer skin thongs to restored birch shaft of 23", forked to hold the stone in place. Very traditional piece that was carried in every woodland warrior for centuries. Well balanced and handsome, obtained from an estate about 10 years ago & now I am liquidating my own estate.
