    Description

This most beautiful Inoquois Indian human face war club came out of the Onodaya Reservation just south of Syracuse, New York State back in the mid 1960s.
A Indian Worker that we all called Ma-Who  worked here in CT as a Indian Worker in Local 15 back in the mid 1960s. Pa-Who would go home to the reservation every other week end and always came back with a relic or two that he would sell on the job site.
Over time of two years I got this human face war club and a number of other clubs and tomahawks from Pa-Who.
This perhaps the best club I ever got from Pa-Who and I really do not want to sell it but am getting very much up in age and need to sell relics that I have.
The human face war club is a most fearsome weapon and the Iroquois Indians of the North eastern woodlands were very fond of this type of war club used such a club on their enemies at every opportunity.
This club would be the center piece of any Indian relic collection.
This Iroquois war club could be from the early years but most likely from the 1880s - 1920s  Victorian tourist era. But for sure, this club is 100% authentic and not some cheap computer fashioned clubs from China or India.
23" long  4 1/2"  WIDE AT THE HEAD.   CLUB HAS BEEN FIRE HARDEND.
Handle grip of a hand type of buck skin. Has a bronze square shank tack in each ear - Two eyes are of a old milk glass, Hair could be human or house hair. Has a large bronze very old tack on top of head.
Head has some age cracks that only adds to the beauty of this rare human face war club. The very bottom of the club handle has some type of old filler to fill in a crack. Just adds to its beauty.
