ANTIQUE ORIGINAL 1800s CROW INDIAN TRIBE NATIVE AMERICAN SCALP KNIFE & PORCUPINE QUILL ON LEATHER SHEATH. Nice original condition and measures 11.5" overall with knife blade being 6" long. Great old quill work in three colors. Dates back to the 1860s - 70s era as judged by some experts. This came from the Crow Indians of Montana and was obtained in Montana from an old Western Collection. It has a leather sling loop to attach to a belt. The inside of the sheath has a heavy thick piece of leather to protect the quill work and the knife. The old 1800s period trade knife has no markings that I can see or maybe they are just worn off and uses a 2 piece wood handle grips held by brass tacks/ rivets. See pics for more details.
