Description

Spanish Neoclassical silver inkstand, 1786. Curvilinear shaped cartouche stand with oval gallery between gadrooned borders. Three baluster pots. The sand shaker and wafer box have ball finials with twisted fluting. The inkpot has bell cover for ringing to dispatch an urgent missive. Stand rests on corner peg supports with ball terminals. Dated marks.
