Handsome 1954 Cities Service fold-out road map of New York, printed more than 64 years ago.
This map opens to 18" x 30½" and has great detail on old highway alignments in the Empire State, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
There are inset plans of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany.
A large inset map of Long Island shows ferries to Fire Island and across Long Island Sound to Bridgeport, Saybrook, and New London.
The map was distributed by Cities Service in 1954 and is dated by the code number in the lower margin: 10-BB.
