    Description

    GIRL SCOUTS GS-2A, 1928
    GREEN NECKERCHIEF w/ FIRST TREFOIL
    Here is a triangular neckerchief that is the
    most recognized Girl Scout accessory
    next to the badge sash.  In the early years, this was the standard. This "First" trefoil (see the 4th picture,) began in1919 and was black only.  This ORANGE color does not show on my research until 1928, but the BLACK trefoil has me puzzled.  There are a few tiny stains you can barely see that do not show on the pictures.  That kept me from calling this Pristine!  It looks unused except for those tiny spots.
    This measure approximately 48 inches on the long side, and 32 inches on the short sides.  This is in Excellent condition and would enhance an historians collection.
    Remember
    at that time, uniforms were worn to camp and when playing games as well as at meetings.
    The Uniform guide shows as many as 14 colors, but I never could find the brown color, so these never got into a frame.  Thus they are all listed here one at a time.
