GREEN NECKERCHIEF w/ FIRST TREFOIL
Here is a triangular neckerchief that is the
most recognized Girl Scout accessory
next to the badge sash.  In the early years, this was the standard. This "First" trefoil (see the 4th picture,) began in1919 and was black.  This LIGHT BLUE was one of the more difficult colors to find.  It was introduced in 1920, and yellow was introduced on the trefoil on most colors.
This measure approximately 46 inches on the long side, and 31 inches on the short sides. This is in poor condition.  It appears that an attempt was made to bleach this, but ended up with
discoloration very uneven and odd looking.  There is also also an
orange
dot of soiling that I could not capture on camera.  I had visions of carefully organized my frame so that it would not show.  B
ut I never could find the brown color, so these never got into a frame.  Thus they are all listed here one at a time.
Remember,
at that time, uniforms were worn to camp and when games were played as well as at meetings.
The Uniform guide shows as many as 14 colors at that time.
